Canada's Sports Hall of Fame & ELEV8 CLASSROOM Lacrosse have teamed up to provide hands-on and virtual LIVE programming to schools across Calgary and surrounding areas.
Ignite curiosity and reinforce curricula by engaging in an in-school lacrosse residency with ELEV8 CLASSROOM Lacrosse in addition to a live, virtual Taking the Higher Ground Artefact Talks program.
This live, virtual program shares the stories of Hall of Famers Tom Longboat and Gaylord Powless, teaching students about the racial barriers they faced and overcame in their lives and sporting careers.
Youth will learn the basic skills of modern lacrosse in a fun, energizing, and engaging environment from professional coaching staff who are passionate and supportive mentors. Beyond lacrosse, students will learn important values like teamwork and integrity while building on physical skills, fundamental to any sport.
