Play to Lead:
A Livestream Event on Leadership Beyond Sport

Join us for Play to Lead, an inspiring livestream event exploring how Hall of Famers are taking the lessons of sport into Canadian government and public service. This engaging 45-minute panel will be moderated by sports broadcaster Scott Russell and features four Hall of Famers who have gone beyond the world of sport to make an impact in civic leadership.

Through dynamic stories and discussion, they’ll share how the values developed through sport—resilience, leadership, teamwork, and courage—can be applied to create real-world change. Students will gain unique insights into how sport history connects with civic engagement and leadership pathways.
