Hall of Famers on Tour

Education presentations that connect Hall of Famers with students in real-time to share their stories of how they’ve reached the pinnacle of their careers and are going “beyond their wins” to champion good in their communities. Our education programs aim to equip youth with critical life skills, lessons and tools for success, creating a moment where students discover for themselves that sport teaches more than sport.

This exclusive opportunity to learn from a Hall of Famer will be offered via YouTube livestream to all schools that have registered for the values-based presentation. One lucky school will be chosen for each program to join a Zoom call and interact directly with the Hall of Famer throughout the presentation, making for an unforgettable learning experience.

Nominate Your Favourite Sports Hero

Have the students think about an athlete or builder in sport who is a great role model and contributes positively to their community that they would like to nominate to be inducted into Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame. Each year, a class of Canadians who have achieved the highest level of accomplishment in their sport and who have the purpose and passion to promote Canada’s shared values beyond their sport successes are officially inducted. Nominated individuals may be deceased pioneers of Canadian sport, exceptional athletes who have been retired from major competition for at least four years, or builders demonstrating a lifetime commitment to the development of sport in Canada. All Canadians are invited to nominate athletes, trailblazers, and builders of Canadian sport for induction into Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame through the annual nomination process!
